How to Record Your User Name

It is recommended to record your name with your voice instead of having the virtual assistant use Text-To-Speech to say it. Your recorded name will be used in the following situations:

• To inform people who call you that they are being transferred to you.
• To greet you when you call your account your virtual assistant

You can record your name by phone or on the Web portal.

To record your name by phone using speech commands

• Call your virtual assistant
• Say USER SETTINGS
• Say RECORD MY NAME
• Record your name then press pound (#) to hear it. re-record it or accept it.

To record your name by phone using the telephone keypad

You have to go to the User Settings menu, then select option 2 to change your name. Here is the sequence of actions to do it:

Press (7) (2) (2) {Record Your Name} (#) (1)

• Call your virtual assistant
• Press (7) to go to your USER SETTINGS menu
• Press (2) (2) to record your name
• Record your name then press pound (#) to hear it. re-record it or accept it.
• Press (1) to confirm your new recorded name

To record your name on the Web portal 

• From the toolbar menu, select Call Options under Settings to display the page where you can hear, record or upload your voice name.
• Click Edit right of the "User voice name" field to open launch the voice name editor page where you can hear, record or upload your voice name.
• Click the Microphone and select the phone number where you want to be called to record your name; or
• Click the Folder to select the audio file to upload and use as your new voice name. 
• Click Save to update the new audio file of your recorded name.
